Junior Corporate Accountant

Location: San Francisco

Job Description
This position reports directly to the Corporate Accounting Manager and is responsible for performing daily and monthly routine bookkeeping items for several company entities including, but not limited to, the following:

• Book transactions into the general ledger
• Review daily cash transactions
• Fixed assets accounting
• Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
• Accounts Payable
• Work with Accounting Manager and External Auditors to provide support for annual entity audits
• Responsible for ad hoc projects as required


Candidate Profile
• Minimum two years work experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Minimum educational requirement of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting
• Fundamental understanding of accounting concepts
• Experience with account payable and fixed assets accounting
• Experience with bank reconciliations and booking general ledger transactions
• Experience with fund accounting is preferred but not required
